Bali guide Who Can Apply for the Bali Tourist Levy Voucher?

The levy applies to every international tourist who travels to Bali for tourism. According to the official rules, the following travelers are exempt:

  • Holders of diplomatic and official visas
  • Crew members of transportation vehicles
  • Holders of a Temporary Stay Permit Card (KITAS) or a Permanent Stay Permit Card (KITAP)
  • Holders of family unification visas
  • Holders of student visas
  • Holders of golden visas
  • Holders of other non-tourism visas issued by Immigration

Holders of golden visas and other non-tourism visas must request the exemption in the Love Bali system at least 5 days before arrival in Bali. A levy payment does not replace a visa: check the entry requirements for your passport separately.
